As Im sure you all heard we lost a 95 Civic DX yesterday morning, complete write off, surprising enough the front and rear body kits are still okay and intact but the rest of the car is TOTALED, the passenger side disintegrated on impact. The driver is in okay health.
More to follow.

The driver (that most of you know) has 8 staples in his left leg, 8-9 stitches on his face, missing both his front teeth, and doesn't remember a thing..... PEOPLE WEAR YER DAMN SEATBELTS!!!!!! They are NOT there for decoration! The cops, while he was drugged up, made him sign a statement, he got charged with careless driving. The ONLY charge they laid (according to the news).

It's a damn shame. And yes people what Simon Sez is true, you need to wear your damn seatbelts. :-*Apparently they found him in the back seat. It's a good thing his girlfriend stayed at the cottage, or she'd be dead. I hope Picotte is Ok, but unfortunately he learned a hard lesson. Hopefully that'll change how he feels about seatbelts in the future.
Ciao for now!

So this morning I went to the hospital again, but before that I stopped by the impound to take a couple pics of the car for him. He wanted to see it, so I brought the cam in to the hospital with me and showed him. He's doing alot better today, I walked him around emerge, and we chatted about things. He asked me if I thought he fell asleep (cause he doesn't remember shit) and I said, dude, that's what it looks like, and he was surprised. He's worried about the car a bit, but I told him, that's not what's important man, look at that thing...you're lucky to be alive. We'll get another one on the go, we have enough resources to pull it off. He's missing 3 teeth from the top front.. Has stitches in his top lip to his cheek. His knee area is stapled almost 6 inches. He's not badly bruised or anything, he actually looks really good. Anyhow, he'll be released from hospital today, and sent over to the B Hosp for an asessment, given sick leave and drugs. Got to hand it to Zenon, that poly body kit is intact. The two rear wheels/ties are good. The trunklid and spoiler, one projector lamp from the front, his subs and amp, two rear speakers, one tailight, most of the exhaust...is all still good.......the block looks good from what I could see. DO NOT send these pictures around. What is important is that he's alive and doing well, glad to see it.

Very good photography work Whitey. It's a shame to see that car in that shape. I hope he's doing alright.

it's nice to see your all worried about the kid that caused the accident that almost killed 2 other people, where are your thoughts for them and their families? ?. i think that should have been part of all of your replys and when you put this on your site, don't you seem to think so?. and one way insurance is the least of his worries with the pain and suffering that has been caused. one lady will never have full use of her foot ever again. Now that really SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!.

I appreciate your opinion dodgeneon, however they're not personal to me. I do not know them. Therefore my first and main reaction was to the fact of a friend who was in an accident. I have only heard about what happened to him. I havn't heard hide nor hair of any other victims. It is true, I am happy for their safety for lack of a better word. It is VERY unfortuante that a person has been disabled because of this unfortunate event.

Now that really SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!. What is interesting here is that you say he caused the accident, were you there? Do you know what happened? Bad things will happen in life, the main thing is that everyone is alive. This is why they are called accident's. I don't think our buddy purposely veered into oncoming traffic. Nor doeas he habitually drive like an asshole. Just because he drives a honda civic, doesn't mean he's a young crazy driver. Something tells me you are related to the lady that lost the use of her foot, I feel for you man, I hope things get better for you and your family. If the guy driving the Honda knew about it, he'd feel pretty badly. Let's try and keep this thread civil people.

NO worries about civility my man. I don't think anyone wrote anything directly demeaning or meant as an attack. Just some conversation.
